Janoś is the head of TransferLab. He is a PhD in computational economics, a machine learning enthusiast and a prolific open-source contributor. Janoś’s interests range across disciplines. Side projects during his PhD have led to a state-of-the-art epidemiological model, an open-source library for numerical optimization and an optimizer for noisy functions. He is currently interested in everything that makes AI more reliable and useful for practical applications and works on methods and software to achieve this goal.
