While completing her PhD in computational astrophysics, Elena turned her focus toward the intersection of cosmology, simulation, and machine learning. Her research centered on developing machine learning frameworks to extract physical insights from large-scale simulations of the Universe. She joined the TransferLab team in 2025, where she contributes her experience in simulation-based inference and high-performance computing to advancing efficient and trustworthy machine learning methods.
